The Jewels backyard breeding facility is located in Lincoln, California. The garage (pictured with the red arrow pointing to it) is where I observed most of Julie's dogs.
In 2013 I saw cages lined up with dogs, 2 to a cage overrun with urine and fecal material. This is not uncommon in the dog breeding world.
In May of 2014 Julie told me she had 17 dogs in her 'kennel' and 3 litters of puppies (20 puppies) in her house.
In September of 2018, when I was with Julie, she named 12 dogs that she had in her possession.
When I was there I observed that the kennel was not connected to the house and there was no automatic heating or cooling, only fans blowing.
In December 2018 Placer County Animal Control found 13 unlicensed dogs in the 'kennel'.
